Digital L&D at Harper Collins
We were hired by the People Director of the UK publishing arm of Harper Collins to create a Digital Learning and Development strategy and management of the service for the company’s 900 staff.
Previously the client had delivered L&D only via f2f interventions and the People Director wanted to adopt more 21st century approaches and needed also to make significant budget savings. As part of a restructure of his team he decided to outsource the service completely to us on a 2 year retained contract.
From 2016 we have created a digital curriculum online which is enhanced by a short sharp master class programme.
- Over 80% of the business has engaged with the platform since launch.
- Each month the unique and returnable traffic is increasing and we have adapted the architecture of the platform agile in line with feedback from the business.
- We have created both externally curated articles as well as internal bespoke films and podcasts which highlight the skills and behaviours important to this business.
- We produce quarterly reports for the client based on a mix of KPI’s which cover usage as well as behaviourial change.
