FAQs for Mentor
What if I can’t make a session?
No problem. Let your mentee know and try to reschedule. Just keep communication open.
What should I prepare in advance?
No – each theme guide provides structure, insight prompts, and ways to add value. Skim the guide and show up with intention.
What if the match doesn’t feel right?
Let us know. We want the experience to feel meaningful for both of you.
Can I contact LTT if I need help?
Absolutely. We’re here for anything you need, from support with your mentee to suggestions on how to approach a tricky conversation.
Will my mentee ask for advice or support between sessions?
They might – we encourage you to agree expectations in your first session. Light-touch contact between sessions is fine if you’re both comfortable with it.
Do I get anything at the end?
Yes! You’ll be invited to a Mentor Thank You Event and receive an “LTT Certified Mentor” badge for your LinkedIn profile – but most importantly, you’ll walk away having made a real difference.

One hour per month with your mentor, focused on you.

FAQs for Mentees
What if I miss a session?
That’s okay, life happens. Just let your mentor know in advance and reschedule if possible.
Can I message my mentor between sessions?
Yes, if they’re happy with that and if that’s what you agree in your first session. Most mentors are open to light-touch check-ins via email. We recommend you set up an initial “getting to know each other” session where you can discuss and agree how you’ll be working together moving forward.
What if the fit doesn’t feel right?
If something’s not working, let us know. We want this to be a supportive and meaningful experience for both of you.
Will my mentor give me advice or tell me what to do?
Not exactly. Mentors are here to guide, challenge, and reflect with you, not to make decisions for you.
Can I request a specific mentor next time?
We do our best to match mentees with the right mentor for the moment they’re in. If you come back to the programme in future, let us know what kind of support you’re looking for.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes – and more than that, you’ll walk away with clarity, momentum, and real connection.
