LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®

In today’s fast-paced and complex business environment, leadership teams face unprecedented challenges

The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) method offers a novel and impactful way to tackle these challenges head-on.

Let’s Talk Talent can support you with LSP workshops, which encourage participants to think in new and creative ways whilst building stronger connections as a team.

What is LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®?

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is based on the following assumptions:

  • Leaders don’t have all the answers. Their success is dependent on hearing and engaging all the voices in the room.
  • People naturally want to contribute, be a part of something bigger and take ownership.
  • Allowing each member to contribute and speak out, results in a more sustainable business.

Modern teams often struggle with siloed communication, resistance to change, and a lack of innovative thinking. LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is a facilitated meeting, communication, and problem-solving method that has been proven to break down these barriers. Through structured play and storytelling, LSP facilitates deeper understanding and stronger connections within teams.

“LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® taps into the human ability to imagine, describe, and make sense of a situation through playful interaction. By utilising hands-on, minds-on learning, LSP enables individuals and teams to build deeper understanding and foster innovation. Clients often experience enhanced problem-solving capabilities, improved communication, and increased commitment to shared goals. It’s a dynamic way to turn abstract concepts into tangible solutions that everyone can see and understand.”

Our workshop

Our LSP workshop is a dynamic, hands-on session which can be a full-day or a half-day session. This workshop is designed to unlock the full potential of any team quickly, effectively, and deeply. It is a process that will move a collection of individuals towards what we call a real team: one that will exhibit characteristics such as nurturing ideas, being alert and flexible, sharing ideas transparently, being self-motivated and comprised of individuals who mesh together.

We believe that no matter what type of organisation, true competitive advantage can only come from the people in the organisation.

Participants will engage in a series of carefully designed LSP activities that are not only fun but are also deeply reflective, pushing participants to think in new and creative ways and building stronger connections as a team.

What are the workshop aims?

The workshop aims to:

  • Enhance communication, fostering a culture of openness and understanding.
  • Realise the critical connections on the team.
  • Uncover the unspoken Simple Guiding Principles for the team.
  • Explore, reflect, and decide how each of you can bring more to the team.
  • Strengthen leadership abilities and emotional intelligence across the team.
Ask us about our LSP support

“Using LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® combined with personal effectiveness principles significantly transformed my approach to teamwork and leadership. One of the most enlightening moments came when I realised how this method leveled the playing field among all participants, regardless of their role or rank. It was refreshing to see barriers dissolve and judgement vanish; we were all equal contributors. This experience not only fostered open communication but also demonstrated the power of collective creativity and respect. Inspired by these insights, I am committed to fostering an environment of open communication without judgement, ensuring every team member feels valued and heard.”
