Leadership Performance & Assessment Consultancy

There is no heavier burden than an untapped potential, said Charles Schulz and is core to our purpose of unlocking potential at Let’s Talk Talent.

So how do you put this into practice and support your leaders to be the best that they can be when they are normally giving their teams feedback. Let’s ask ourselves the question: how do these leaders get feedback on their own performance and why is this important?

This is not about recycling old methods of creating a complex or expensive process.

Instead, by using a number of ingredients to assess and develop your leadership talent you can retain, engage and enable the people who will help you to win – both now and in the future.

Our approach provides an external lens, using a mix of psychometric assessments, interviews, 360-degree feedback and performance reviews which enable us to objectively describe their potential. We’ll help you develop and nurture the individual as part of the process and then provide guidance to assist them in building a development plan tailored to their unique career trajectory within your business.

This ensures that we’ll create a solution which mirrors the uniqueness of your business, while providing the most cost-effective and efficient use of consultancy support.

Our Approach

We believe in putting people at the heart of the assessment process.

  • SCIENCE: Uncovering potential through evidence and rigor.
  • ART: Engaging the individual at the receiving end.
  • HUMANITY: Communicating openly and honestly throughout the process and helping to grow the person.

We’re passionate about bringing these three elements together so that the experience is positive, rewarding and beneficial for you and your people.

“The team at Let’s Talk Talent played a key role in our senior leader succession planning programme through the delivery of best-in-class assessment tools, development planning and coaching that helped set our leaders up for future success.”

360 Assessment

An effective 360 assessment provides a platform for honest, consistent and transparent feedback which is utilised to review an individual’s performance, highlight potential gaps and needs for development.

The main goals of any 360 assessment is to enhance self awareness, highlight strengths and potential development areas, encourage behavioural change and drive overall business and team effectiveness.

We have created for clients both a live version where we speak to stakeholders individually and create reports as well as most recently built an online tool through a survey platform which can be utilised at a leadership level.

At Let’s Talk Talent we believe in a non cookie cutter approach and do not align ourselves to a particular tool as we believe that it is important to understand the outputs and outcomes of change that you want to see in a persons performance.

Some of the tools that we use range from more traditional models like Higan Saville Wave. KFLA through to Voiceprint, GC index, Disc, Insights to the Ecomitional Culture deck and free tools like 16 personalities and high 5 strengths.

These tools can be utilised at an individual or group level so if you are interested in chatting in more detail do not hesitate to reach out to one of the team.

Coaching is a vital tool for senior professionals which can support a well-rounded and effective leadership approach. Fostering personal and professional growth can benefit both the individual and the wider organisation in a number of ways.

Higher performance, personal development, increased wellbeing… The benefits of coaching have already been well established. However, there are still plenty of misconceptions around this powerful development tool. Many businesses believe coaching is expensive, and therefore best kept for the leadership team or C-suite.

At Let’s Talk Talent, that’s not how we think. We believe everyone has talent, and coaching should be accessible enough to help anyone unlock their full potential. We also believe that it shouldn’t be reserved just for career development. Coaching can be used in many situations, to overcome very specific challenges.

Over the years, we’ve developed a targeted approach to coaching which has been proven to boost organisational performance through selected bespoke interventions through our Coaching on demand service so please do reach out to discuss in more detail.
