Live 360 Assessments With Halcyon.ai
The Challenge
Halcyon.ai is a global leader in cybersecurity and anti-ransomware solutions. As an organisation they have experienced rapid growth and are preparing to scale further. With leadership teams based across the globe, Halcyon recognised the need for enhanced leadership capabilities to effectively lead the organisation through its strategic growth initiatives. To ensure leaders were equipped for the challenges ahead, the CEO identified that an in-depth, hyper personalised approach to their leadership development was necessary. This led to the desire for a 360 assessment that could provide meaningful, actionable feedback and be used as a tool to prepare the leadership team for their upcoming development programme.
As a technology-based organisation, Halcyon.ai wanted to avoid the traditional online 360 assessments, which often focus on ranking leaders against specified competencies. Instead, they sought a more impactful, conversation-driven approach. They decided to implement LTT’s Live 360 Assessment, enabling individuals, managers, peers, and direct reports to provide honest and constructive feedback through 1:1 conversations. The aim was to drive a deeper opportunity to explore individual strengths, areas for improvement, and the broader leadership capabilities of the team.
Our objective was:
Design and deliver a Live 360 Assessment that supports individual growth ahead of the leadership development programme. Enable individuals, managers, peers, and direct reports to provide meaningful feedback on leadership performance in order to evaluate leadership capabilities, identifying development areas and strengths. Utilising the data provided, develop detailed Personal Development Plans (PDPs) to guide personalised leadership development.
The Results
- Utilising the Live 360 assessment tool, 20 leaders were assessed across five core development areas. This tool allowed for tailored feedback from multiple perspectives, including managers, peers, and direct reports, creating a holistic view of each leader’s impact.
- The assessments provided valuable insights into the leadership strengths of the team, as well as areas for improvement.
- Each leader received a detailed and actionable report, which outlined both their strengths and key opportunities for development. These reports were used as a foundation for building individual development plans (PDPs).
- 1:1 coaching sessions were incorporated to ensure that each leader could explore their feedback in greater detail and ensure they were fully supported throughout their growth journey.
Goals:

Impact:
- 20 senior leaders were assessed across bespoke leadership competencies mapped from the strategic objectives of the business.
- 5 key team strengths were identified, which were aligned with Halcyon.ai’s overall leadership strategy.
- 120 in-depth 360-degree interviews were conducted across the leadership team, providing comprehensive, multi-source feedback.
- Detailed PDPs were created for each leader, providing a clear, actionable path for individual growth.
- The Live 360 process allowed Halcyon.ai to drive deeper, more impactful conversations about leadership and performance, enhancing team alignment and readiness for the upcoming leadership development programme.
