Culture Audit Consultancy
Your organisational culture is made up of a collection of the internal values, expectations and practices which make your organisation unique.
Your organisational culture exists whether you like it or not, and it will form its own shape without intervention.
Shaping your culture to best suit the goals of your organisation and its people is paramount to your success.
Luckily, with thought and care, you can be intentional about how you want to shape it.
Your culture is constantly evolving and changing due to external and internal influences. To ensure your culture is working for your organisational goals, you must keep on top of these and iterate your culture to ensure it’s highly engaging and immersive for your people and, ultimately, to benefit your customers.
Let’s Talk Talent can help you to analyse, report and improve your overall company culture to help drive a great employee experience across your organisation.
Why culture in your organisation matters
Culture is not static, it ebbs and flows but at certain times it is important to take stock and really understand what your people are saying. Are they happy, motivated and engaged or are there parts of the culture that need to proactively change or develop?
A culture audit gives you the chance to step back and see whether there are things that your leadership team could be doing differently to drive success.
Overcoming a toxic workplace culture
A toxic culture can manifest itself in many ways, and any negative, disrespectful or overly stressful work environment can lead to talent looking for alternative career options. Some of the signs of this include; a feeling of ‘us and them’ between the leadership team and the rest of the employees, low motivation and high staff turnover. To overcome this, there is often a need to drastically improve communications and implement an open door culture, so that the entire business is working and operating as a unit.
Company surveys
Before getting into the practical stuff, it’s important to gain a real understanding of what’s happening. Only by getting to the root of the problem can we help you choose the most impactful tactics.
Sometimes we’ll opt to run a company-wide survey and report the findings back to management. The objective is to take you on a journey with us, showing you where you were, and where you are going.
These surveys also give employees a sense that they’re being heard and that their opinions really matter to the company.
Diversity and Inclusion
Having a balance of talent from a wide variety of backgrounds and ethnicities is vital for many reasons. Firstly, your ability to move beyond prejudice on gender, sexuality, race, religion, and age seems like the very least any organisation should be doing. But equally, diversity of thought is paramount to innovation and business success. However, if you have a diverse workforce within a culture that is not inclusive then you won’t achieve your business goals.
At Let’s Talk Talent, we can help you make inclusion visible at every level of your organisation and provide training, support and expertise wherever it’s needed so it’s part of the air your employees breathe.

FAQs
It is a review of your current culture to help you understand the impact your internal values, expectations and practices are having on the lived experiences of your employees and the outputs they bring to your organisation.
It is essential for organisations aiming to attract, retain, and engage top talent and for those aiming to be stand out from their competitors as a great place to work. It benefits a wide range of stakeholders, including HR professionals, business owners, and executives.
Key buyers include those seeking to shape their culture to attract and retain top talent, and those who want to create a competitive advantage.
A culture audit requires us to understand how your organisation works today.
We may do that through employee surveys (or assessing results you have from your own surveys), interviewing key stakeholders, conducting focus groups with specific people in your company, or observing how your organisation currently operates in person.
We may also perform other desk research or meaningful materials to your company to glean a temperature check on where you are today.
Your culture exists whether you intentionally shape it or not. If you don’t take a temperature check of your current culture through an audit.
Then you can intentionally shape it to your competitive advantage based on the results.
How will you make your culture work best for you?
Most cultural audits take a few weeks to complete but are dependent on availability of necessary resources supplied to our team.
If you have a clear understanding of how to describe your culture today, you know you’ve experienced a successful cultural audit.
The next step is where the deeper work begins. Is your culture serving you and, if not, what do you want to do to shape it so that it is?

HR Strategy
Culture plays an important role and foundation of your HR Strategy. Before you start building your HR Strategy, it’s important to understand where you are now and where you want to be. A culture audit is a great place to start to understand the ‘as is’ state of your people.
Organisational Development
The overall design of your organisation can have a direct impact on your overall culture. The organisation should be set up in the way in that develops your desired cultural approach.
Boosting a flat hierarchical structural culture within an organisation will be next to impossible to deploy if the organisation is hierarchical in design.
Talent Management Strategy
The Culture of your organisation can have a direct impact on your talent. Have a great culture can help to retain and grow your talent where having a negative culture can drive your talent away.
An organisations culture is a constantly evolving organism which needs to be woven into all elements of talent.
